“I cooked for many famous guests including the Queen Mother, the Queen, Princess Diana and President Clinton."
My Story: I worked at the Savoy Hotel, London for 21 years leading a brigade of 80 chefs and cooking up to 2,000 covers a day. During this time I also published books and made numerous TV and radio appearances. My current role involves training chefs, producing innovative menus and managing the large company contracts, such as the Restaurant at Hampton Court Flower Show. I now own my own hotel and restaurant. The hotel is called Great Hallingbury Manor and the restaurant is called Anton’s!
Funny Story: Had late dinner with some chef friends in a hotel in Scotland, before shooting Grouse the next day. After the main dish we asked if we could have dessert as well. The girl said, no the chef has gone home. So I said just lets have some cheese. I thought this would be easy for her. She went away and then came back and said " I can take it out of the sandwiches in the fridge". We declined and had another bottle of red wine instead!
